Dystopia claimed the GH Mumm Stakes at her third time of trying.
Dystopia ($5 fav) was steadied and settled behind runners in about ninth place.
She was travelling strongly and Hugh Bowman took her towards the rails side and she improved quickly from the 300m point to hit the lead passing the 100m. She then went on to win nicely by a length and half, sprinting home in a smart 33.57 (last 600m).
Shamal Wind was about 13th in the 16-horse field to the 400m. She finally got into the clear shortly afterwards and was an unlucky, late-closing second.
She Can Skate showed good pace to be close to the leaders in the centre of the course. She went to second nearing the 400m and fought on nicely for a good (length and half) third.
