Tango's Daughter won the Group 2 Queen Of The South on a big day at Morphettville.

Tango’s Daughter was given a great ride in front by Dean Yendall to score by a long head over Floria.

Tango’s Daughter was used up from her wide barrier (8) to take the lead before slowing the tempo noticeably in the middle stage. She quickened up in the straight and battled gamely to hold on for a narrow victory.

Floria raced in second position on the outside of the leader. She raced up to challenge the winner in the straight but just could not get her head in front. It was a game effort.
