Timothy Bell completing a winning stakes treble when riding Sacred Star to victory here.

He settled his mount down in fifth position one of the fence. Poised to challenge on straightening being brought three and four wide with his run. He responded well hitting the front inside the final 100m and proving a little the better of Masthead who lunged late on his outside.

Masthead ran well in defeat he was trapped three wide facing the breeze in sixth position. He took the home turn on the outside and kept finishing on to be nearest on the line. A solid effort considering the extra ground he was forced to cover.

Bennetta raced on the back of Masthead in eighth position. She cornered for home on the outside of the field and came with a steady run to be nearest on the post finishing a sound third.
