Shelford fought on after getting every chance but getting just 1kg from the winner, a multiple G1 placed sprinter, was simply not enough and never will be. Hannah Mary ran a game on the pace third just ahead of Shezhardtocatch that ran on okay. Trepidation ran on late down the outer and Antonio Lombardo was not too bad the closing stages boxing on. Durham Town at 56kg can race on and earn for several more seasons under weights and penalties as it suits him incredibly well. The mares finishing third, fourth and fifth Hannah Mary, Shezhardtocatch and Trepidation all finished with a half a length over the line.
