Underrated mare Tycoon Tara continues to build a good record, now winning five of her ten starts. She was fourth (wide) in the early stages but Ben Melham made a quick move, due to the slow early pace, to take the lead on passing the 800m. She dashed clear at the 300m and fought back well for score by neck.

Choose led early and really steadied the pace and was quickly passed at 750m. She then came outside the new leader (Tycoon Tara) coming to the home turn but was out-sprinted at the 300m. She then kept battling on for a sound second.

Street Allure was sixth to the 600m, moved up wide at the home turn and battled on quite well for third.

Winta Chiller ran on late for (1.3 lengths) fourth while second favourite Bonaria and handy between runners, was held up for a run in the straight before battling on under her top weight (59kg) for (1.5 lengths) fifth.
