Favourite Azkadellia was a bit slow to move, settled well back in seventh place. She fanned very deep rounding the home turn, challenged strongly at the 100m and kept battling on well for a close second.

Lucky Lago had a nice trip from her barrier (1) racing in third place on the rails to the home turn. She briefly looked a threat in the straight before holding on to take the minor placing.

Ballet Suite was back in eighth place on the rails, got between runners rounding the home turn and kept running on quite well for (1.9 lengths) fourth.

Coronation Shallan crossed quickly from barrier nine and went straight to the front. She then travelled along well at quite a good pace, turned for home with a break on the field, looked likely to be run down at the 100m but she stuck gamely to her task and fought back for narrow but good win. Favourite Azkadellia was a bit slow to move, settled well back in seventh place.
