Summer Sham maintained her unbeaten record, now three wins from three starts and was very smartly away to set the early pace. Out by two lengths from the 1000m to the 600m, jockey Daniel Moor sat quietly to the last corner where the lead was just over a length then gave her a shake at the 250m.

As the challenges developed Moor got busy and the filly kept giving and was able to hold on by a neck at the finish.

A nice effort from Palazzo Vecchio who was midfield, one off the fence approaching the last corner, got the split at the 100m and finished well between runners to grab a good second.

Miss Wahoo was a handy third turning in, looked to hold second at the 100m but was outfinished, from Counterplay who was fourth turning in and had every chance, battling away to hold fourth.
