Scenic Blast, the champion sprinter of 2008/09 when he was crowned Australian Horse of the Year, is one of Black Caviar's potential rivals in Saturday's G2 $300,000 Schweppes Moir Stakes over 1000m.

The seven-year-old is back in the care of his original Perth trainer Dan Morton after an unsuccessful five start campaign in America last year.

The race will be his first start in Australia since winning the G1 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington in 2009.

The King's Stand Stakes winner at Royal Ascot is one of eight potential rivals for Black Caviar on Saturday.

However Karuta Queen, who ran second to Black Caviar in the G2 Schillaci Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on October 8, is likely to take on her own age in the Red Anchor Stakes.

Other entries include Black Caviar's stablemate Doubtful Jack, Balavan, Ego's Dare, Huxssen and Sarge In Charge.
