Opening at $6.50 with TAB Sportsbet, he has firmed to $5.50 while the Melbourne-trained Shadowfax, after opening p equal $6.50 favourite has remained steady at that price.

In Saturday's Schweppes Handicap, the Chris Waller-trained Mikiyama has firmed from $3.00 to $2.90 and holds favouritism while Cyber Crime has been specked at longer odds and is in from $21 to $17.

In the Bitalli Handicap at Flemington, Supremacy has been the big firmer.

After opening at $7, punters have come for the Kiwi five-year-old in a huge way.

He is now into $3.80 and a clear favourite.

The market will change if first emergency My Destiny ($9) gains a start.

Trainer Con Karakatsanis is sweating on a scratching to give the fast improving My Destiny the chance to extend his winning sequence a start in the $175,000 Villiers.

My Destiny has won three restricted class races on the trot in Sydney and Karakatsanis is confident he is ready to be tested in Group company.

"My Destiny is on the way up and he gets into it with no weight which puts him in with a real chance," Karakatsanis said.

"There are not many opportunities around to compete in a Group race at this time of the season so it will be shame if he misses out on a start.

My Destiny has raced only nine times and untested beyond 1400m but Karakatsanis has no doubt he will run a strong 1600m.

"The pattern of his recent races has forced him to be ridden up close. Ridden quietly he will have no problems getting a mile," Karakatsanis said.
