The $400 000 Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes and the Group 1 Inglis Queen of the Turf Stakes have both attracted equine superstars ahead of Saturday's Golden Slipper meeting at Rosehill.

Star three-year-old Mosheen races again in Sydney on Saturday where she is poised to add a third consecutive Group 1 to her already impressive CV. The Robert Smerdon trained daughter of Fastnet Rock has been a revelation this autumn, after she followed her easy victory in the Group 1 Australian Guineas(1600m) with her first victory in Sydney when she reeled in the males to win the Group 1 Royal Randwick Guineas (1600m).
Mosheen has been racing over 1600m of late, but with her impressive victory in the Group 1 Crown Oaks over 2500m at Flemington during the Victorian Spring Racing Carnival, there can be no questions as to whether she will get the trip. Her regular pilot Danny Nikolic will be in the saddle and between them they certainly know their way to the winner's circle.
The aptly named Queen of the Turf Stakes is indeed headlined by a queen, as the classy Gai Waterhouse trained More Joyous is back to defend her crown. In a copybook repeat of last year, the five-year-old daughter of More Than Ready will again start as favourite and with regular jockey Nash Rawiller on board, the outcome is unlikely to change either.
More Joyous won the Group 2 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill two weeks ago with ease despite not being completely wound up. Her track and distance record is an impeccable two from two and Rawiller is unlikely to end up anywhere except in the number one box on Saturday.
TAB Sportsbet fixed odds currently have Mosheen at $1.60 with Streama at $2.40 in the Vinery and More Joyous a clear favourite at $1.85 in the Queen of the Turf.
