Two teams off stirring wins fight it out in what will make or break one of them for 2024.
Not that Adelaide are making finals but they are dangerous while Hawthorn could not be doing anything more.
The Crows were poor early, turned it around to get almost 7 goals up then it all swung again. But to their credit they stuck their heads in front and held their nerve.
Injuries will have an impact but at home they will generally play well and set themselves to show off to the faithful fans.
Whatever they do, Hawthorn will pose a massive task for them. They are pretty solid down back with Sicily in charge, tough and contested in the middle and then small but manic in the forward 50.
Jack Ginnivan polarises but he played his best ever game. That will be part of making the Crows life a drama if repeated.
