It shapes as one which can influence spots in the Top 8 but also with implications come September.
Sydney has finally started to hit a few hurdles both in terms of form and injuries. And while that is never good it's better than in the finals.
They actually played superbly against Brisbane in losing at the Gabba.
Struck down with in game problems, they had their chances but were still punching hard late in the game.
If anything they gained more kudos than in some of their wins.
Though, you could not be anything but impressed with what the Bulldogs dished up when travelling down to the Cattery.
From the opening bounce they were on. They were hard and tough and ran the ball so well. Never easy to do at Geelong.
They have a forward line, if functioning right, that can test the Swans. Will the Swans be up for it?

Sydney will use this as a Finals-like prep even with the injuries. They will take up the challenge. If they don't play to their best then the Bulldogs are a real hope. The market seems too far apart.
