Jack Lukosius' strong form at Darwin continued, kicking 5 goals for the third time in his last four matches at the venue. The smooth moving swingman got heavily involved with 16 disposals and 5 goal assists.

Isaac Heeney is a strong chance to poll in all of the Swans 10 wins to start the season and hold a commanding lead in the Brownlow. Heeney just doesn't miss, with 24 disposals, 8 tackles, 5 clearances and 3 goals.

In another brilliant showing for the Crows forward, Izak Rankine booted 3 goals and had 2 assists from his 11 disposals.

Despite the loss for the Power, Zak Butters ranked second in the Showdown medal voting with 33 disposals, 16 contested, 9 inside 50s and 624 meters gained- all of which were game highs.

If this form continues- Merrett could be in the box seat for a top-3 finish in the Brownlow, such is his influence on matches and the fact he is easily the Bombers best player.
Darcy Parish picked up a game high- 36 disposals, taking 11 marks, having 6 clearances and a game high- 147 AFL Fantasy Points.
Tim Kelly made an impact in the Eagles narrow loss, winning a team high- 29 disposals and game high- 9 clearances and 14 contested possessions as well as 2 goal assists.

Hayden Young picks up the 3 votes with some tough competition. In the Dockers biggest win at the MCG since 2015, Young- now relishing his time in the midfield- had 30 disposals, kicked 2 goals and led all players for contested possessions (14), clearances (8) and was the equal leader for inside 50s (7) and score involvements (11).
Caleb Serong was at his ball winning best with 38 disposals and 6 clearances, leading the inside 50s (7) and score involvements (11) alongside Young. Serong polled 24 votes last season despite the Dockers placing 14th. Should the Dockers continue to win matches, he looms a strong Brownlow chance.
All-Australian defender- Luke Ryan looks stiff to poll the minor vote, but such was the Dockers midfield dominance, it was hard to push him higher. Ryan finished with match highs for disposals (39), marks (15), meters gained (628) and intercept possessions (9).
