​Three years after Cheyenne Dancer became the first galloper in modern times to leave Singapore for Malaysia and eventually come full circle a Group 1 winner back at Kranji, another horse is following into his hoof steps, granted on a more modest scale.

Trainer Michael Freedman has already shaken off his post-holiday blues as he gets back in the thick of the action at Kranji saddling two of his high-profile wards, Mr Big and Better Be The One in the $200,000 Group 3 Woodlands Handicap (1200m) on Polytrack this Sunday.

The much-awaited two-horse war between Mr Big and Yin Xin did not disappoint with the latter coming out on top courtesy of a gem of a ride by top jockey Joao Moreira on Sunday.

The Steven Burridge yard was right on the money with two former Malaysian-based gallopers in the two feature races across both sides of the Causeway on Sunday.

Somehow Super Easy got himself out of a pocket, then got blocked in one direction, tried another and finally got through to win the Singapore Guineas.
