Ebony Flyer overcame her well known breathing problems to take the R500,000, Grade 1, WFA Klawervlei Majorca Stakes (1600m) at Kenilworth on Saturday.

The R200 000, Grade 2 Graham Beck Memorial Sceptre Stakes(1200m) is held in rememberance of Graham Beck, who as champion breeder and owner was a lifelong supporter of Cape Racing.

The Grade 3 Champagne Stakes (1200m), a weight for age race for fillies and mares at Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town, was won in comfortable style by State Blue for trainer Justin Snaith.
