Ms Tasmania showed she could be in for a big 3YO season with a super comeback win in the 1100m Class 3 Hcp in Launceston on Wednesday night, her first start since winning the Magic Millions 2YO in February.

The first Wednesday meeting of the night season belonged to trainer Glenn Stevenson, who prepared a winning treble.

While Jackson Radley has deservedly been getting plenty of plaudits for his winning start to the current racing season (12 winners from 77 rides at 15.60%) there’s another apprentice who is also off to a flier.

Cups prospect Charlie Bucket found the winners stall, albeit narrowly, in the BM68 (1400m) in Launceston on Friday night. In doing so, he provided relief for his trainer, Glenn Stevenson, who has had his share of issues with the six-year-old.
