Top Echelon sprinter Our Boy Malachi continued his remarkable rise from country sprinter to potential Group One winner with a classy first-up win in the G3 Hall Mark Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.

Last year’s Stradbroke Handicap victor River Lad is set to resume in the Victory Stakes at the Gold Coast on 25 April.

Classy Brisbane sprinter River Lad will return to training in the next few days and will be set for back-to-back Stradbroke Handicaps.
