Tasmanian Derby winner Liberty Leader could go for a classic double in the South Australian Derby at Morphettville next month.

Tasmanian jockey David Pires recorded one of the most memorable wins of his career when Isibaeva upset the favourites to win the $150,000 Bow Mistress Trophy at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart on Sunday.

The Tasmanian carnival hits top gear on Sunday with the G3 Bow Mistress Trophy and Listed Tasmanian Derby the features on a nine-event card at Elwick in Hobart.
