Darren Weir may yet foil Chris Waller’s bid to be crowned Australia’s leading Group One trainer for a record fifth successive season.

Windsor Park Stud boss Rodney Schick admits he is on edge as two of his new stallions attempt to gild their stud credentials in interstate Group One features in Australia this weekend.

Windsor Park Stud has added another two new sires to its 2017 roster with the acquisition of Group One performers Vanbrugh and Rageese from Australia.

Windsor Park Stud will add further Group One quality to their stallion line-up in 2017 with both Vanbrugh and Rageese to retire to the Cambridge farm later this year.

Day 2 of the Masters was held at Ascot on Saturday though you could forgive yourself for feeling like you were at golf's infamous "party hole" following Takedown's success in the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes.
