Zac Purton will be reunited with Rainbow Chic at Happy Valley on Wednesday night when he partners the seven-year-old Peintre Celebre gelding in the HKG3 January Cup.

The Caspar Fownes-trained Rainbow Chic (120lbs) became the first horse in history to win the Class One Happy Valley Vase for the third time in succession on Wednesday night.

Rainbow Chic took the plaudits at Happy Valley’s final fixture of the current season.
