When his name first appeared on a Singapore racecard last year, many thought a new Italian jockey had become the latest addition to the Kranji riding ranks.

The Singapore Gold Cup winning combination of trainer Hideyuki Takaoka and jockey Alan Munro were victorious with Mulan in the $55,000 Class 4 Div 2 Stakes over 1200m on the Polytrack on Sunday.

Fresh from a winning treble last Sunday trainer John O’Hara will be looking to keep his winning run going at Kranji on Friday night.
