John Sargent felt like crying after Quintessential got the visitor's draw for the Queensland Derby but he's confident Damian Browne can overcome it.

Kiwi fillies continued their recent dominance of the Queensland Oaks last Saturday at Eagle Farm with Quintessential taking out the 2400m event in testing conditions.

The Group 1 Queensland Oaks has gone the way of a New Zealand based filly for the third year in a row with the John Sargent trained Quintessential outstaying her rivals on a rain soaked Eagle Farm.
