David and Emma Haworth are following a tried and true path with their quality mare Waikaha, who will begin her spring campaign at Hastings on Saturday.

Although he was expecting good things from Saturday’s premier raceday at Trentham it was still a relief for Foxton trainer David Haworth when he left the track that evening with a winning double under his belt.

Waikaha only needs her fair share of luck at Tauherenikau on Friday to return to winning form.
