“I really liked the way the horse went to the gates today. He was striding out and he felt a million dollars.

“Richard does a great job with his horses but this horse has come on since I rode him last. He felt super today and it showed.

Sprint Series Final next week: “Obviously we’ll see how he pulls up but the way he felt after the race then, he whipped around, he bowled back. It didn’t take much out of him at all.

“He’s just a really happy horse and he’s going places at the moment. It’s good to cap off a long day with a win.”
