“She was very good. She looked like she was having a bit of a look down the straight but once Ollie gave her a click she was very good.
“Seeing that she now handles the straight, that gives us plenty of options going forward. There’s obviously nice races for three-year-olds down the straight - something like the Coolmore comes to mind if she’s going to head that way.
“We’ll get her home and make a plan from there.
“I thought Ollie was trying to bide his time there. He got up to the leader pretty quickly and he just had to be patient but once he gave her that click she was dominant in the end.”
On Little Schnitty: “She was honest. Tried her heart out. She’s probably just not quite up to this grade.”
Winning Jockey: Damien Oliver
“She’s a nice filly. She’s pleased me every time I’ve ridden her. I’ve only ridden her a few times - a trial leading up to Warrnambool and a trial leading up to today, but she’s progressed every time.
“She’s still a bit wintry but I think off one trial it was nice to not tackle too high a race and she can probably step into something better next time.
“I think it would be worth having a crack at some stakes-class fillies races, for sure. I’m sure Troy will find the right race for her. He’s doing a great job with his team and it’s nice to team up with him. They’re having a good run at the moment.”
