“She won her first race start and kept on running good races, so it’s good to see her get her confidence back today and win another race.”

Thoughts during race: “I was a little worried when she came off the bridle and she (Jamie) had to give her a couple of reminders at the 600 (metres) but on the corner when she had made that ground up I thought she would finish over the top.”

Best trip: “We’re not sure if she gets a strong 2000 (metres). I think there is a 1400-metre three-year-old stakes race over in Adelaide and I think we’ll keep her at stakes level up to a mile.”

“It was nice to see her come back and actually travel a bit better than she used to. She’s just switched on a bit more I think and today she showed she can bounce a bit better and sit a bit closer.”

Were you worried at 600m: “She always does that. I wasn’t worried but I was hoping that she could pick up and show what she did last start. She was solid, but she was probably still waiting for them on the line.”

Best distance: “A think a mile next start will suit her. She needs a little bit further to travel into and still push her out of her comfort zone. A mile next start would be perfect.”
