Solid 3yo Spring: “It was. She didn’t win but she’s back in good shape for this preparation, no doubt.”

Magic Millions options: “There’s plenty of races here for her, naturally. I just want to have a talk to Damien. He’s a good jockey, I think (laughs). He’ll be able to tell me more than I can tell him on the ground.

“She’s a lovely filly and she’s run some decent races and she’s come back in really good order.”

Winning Jockey: Damien Oliver

Compared to last time: “Probably even better, I think. She’s always shown nice ability, this filly.

“I’ve only ridden her once in a race before but trialled her a number of times and she’s alway given me a good feel.

“John said he wasn’t quite happy the way she came up last time and he was more happy with her this time.

“She’s got good speed and I probably do like a bit of the shorter courses , probably over 1200 metres but she’s capable of getting further. She’s got good natural speed and she just wants to please you.

“I knew there was a lot of fast horses in it and being first up after a trial I thought if I can get a trail, I know she was capable of that and she did that for me nicely at Moonee Valley when I won on and I thought it was nice to get something to follow and have the last crack at them.”
