“Craig probably rode her like the best horse in the race and she proved it. She’s come back in great order.

“The idea was to try and knock over a couple of ratings races, get her rating up and then try and attack some black type.

“She certainly ticked off the first part of that equation and now we’ll look to find some better races for her.

“She can get the odd ant in her pant in the mounting yard.”

“Credit to Symon and all his team. This quality mare, with the mannerisms she’s got, they did a great job in the mounting yard. Pre-race she’s quite handful. She’s nice to ride in the race compared with what she is pre-race.

“They’ve placed her so well. They came here today, it’s great that Sandown with the Group 1 Underwood Stakes gets a well-deserved Saturday meeting, and gives all the horses a chance.

“It was a great stepping stone for Symon to find this race for her. Because she’s an Inglis purchased then she’s got a really great target through the Spring Carnival at Flemington, all being well.

“She was good, she was determined, spent so much energy pre-race but she loves to be tough. Her attitude will take her a long way.”
