“She got that all-important black type last start and I thought she’s been ever so consistent. The team have done a great job with her and keeping her up.

“She’s been up for a fair while, it looked a really nice race for her on paper.

“Teo’s got a really good record on her. Gave her a beautiful ride and you could see him waiting for a long way until he got a long way down the straight before he gave her the full bore and it was beautiful.

“Great to get a winner for Seymour Bloodstock and the Kellys. A daughter of Xtravagant. They seem to be pretty good racehorses, pretty straightforward to train so hopefully it is a sign of things to come.”

Maybe further: “She’s adaptable. We’ll reset now. She’s been ticking over for a while. She does seem to be golding her form very well. We’ll work it out but she may stretch to a mile.”

“What a filly she’s been. She’s risen through each race we’ve put ther through. To win her maiden at Pakenham then to a Benchmark 58 and still run competitive each time we’ve stepped her up and raised the bar.

“In the run at Group 3 at Moonee Valley, she didn’t disgrace herself at all. Then again last start at Caulfield in the listed race, she ran a very credible third.

“To come here today, back in grade, we had a lovely run. She really lengthened underneath me.

“Especially when they went quite steady throughout the race and to accelerate the way she did I can’t wait to see her maybe over a mile.”

On the track: “There is quite a heavy wind that is quite noticeable and it is blowing across the track at this stage. Lovely conditions at the moment.”
