On the win: “She probably didn’t travel as strong, although they were running along and they didn’t go that quick at Ballarat. She won well and I thought it was a cool ride, we just said to let it happen, if she is in the form she was at ballarat then let it unfold and don’t try to force the issue. He was patient until about the 300 (metres) when he came off Ollie’s (Bermadez) back. She was strong through the line suggesting she might get a little bit further. If she gets a mile it will open up a lot of options for her

The future: “The plan after Ballarat was this race and then the Chester Manifold (Stakes) but we’ll have a chat to the guys back in America (Alex and Jason) and thank them for sending her over. It’s great to win again but black type is the plan.

The mare: “She’s a little bit quirky, the team have done a great job with her, she’s not the easiest to manage - the guys at Fingal and at the beach have done a great job with her.
