“She was super. We were quite keen just to let the race unfold, get her comfortable and Johnny knows her really well.
“Just having the last crack at them being at Flemington and the mile was always going to suit her a lot better.
“Johnny did think that she felt the track last start but it was beautiful today and she let down well.
“She seems to be ticking through the grades nicely and I think as she stretches out she’ll only get better.
“When they’re in form like this and if she continues to please us at home we’ll keep ticking her along, spacing her runs.
“When they’re three-year-olds you can jump a few grades and jump into a black type race but as a four-year-old you have to let them go through their grades.
“Certainly very progressive. She won pretty arrogantly there and it is great to get a win for those colours. They can’t seem to do much wrong lately.”
Winning Jockey: John Allen
“She’s obviously got a big engine and plenty of talent, but I think she’s versatile and I don’t think she has to be ridden quietly.
“It was a good effort, we got flushed a bit wide on the corner with a big long run but she really sustained that run for a long way.
“For a filly she’s got a great attitude. Nothing seems to bother her. She just cruises around nice and relaxed. She’s a great ride, does everything right and has a big engine as well.
“Very clear-winded and she’s pulled up barely blowing.”
