Winning Trainer: Anthony & Sam Freedman (Sam speaking)

On the horse: “He’s a very fast colt, he’s been very professional in everything he’s done. That said, in his trials, he pricks his ears when he gets to the front and has a look around. He’s not screwed down by any means , it’s a long series to get to the Blue Diamond (Stakes) but that would be the goal again and he’ll certainly appreciate the experience.

Future plans: “There’s plenty of options but we’ll just get by and have a chat to the team, James Harron and all his investors, it’s a great result.

“He’ll continue to progress , ideally we’d get three runs into him prior (the Blue Diamond) but we’ll see how he comes through this first.

Winning Jockey: Damien Oliver

On the performance: “He’s a pretty fast horse and shown good speed . My one jump out on him he indicated to me that you just want to go with him and try not to hold him up too much  and I think it suited him today.

On his Blue Diamond options: “It's still pretty early doors yet, I think you can expect the good ones to come out from now on - he’s shown nice ability today, he’s probably got to stretch that out a bit further but he’s heading in the right direction - I think in the weeks ahead you will see the good ones come out.
