Emphatic win again: “She was really good in that ground, especially. The horse had been going good at home and back on that affected track today, she seemed to get through it really well.”
Going better this campaign: “We gave her a long break, which we thought she needed. She came back in great order. It was one of those thing, given the time and she went up to her breeders place and they looked after her great and she came back great.”
Immediate future: “Don’t know. I think he’s good enough to win a black type race eventually, but we’ll see how she comes through this.”
Nice to win a race on home track on Cup Day: “It’s beautiful. It’s a shame for the Club. We had a beautiful day here yesterday, but it’s turned to rubbish really quickly. There’s a lot of people here and hopefully it eases off soon.”
Winning Jockey: John Allen
Ploughed through the conditions: “There was some concern before the race, but Andrew said the one run she had on heavy she wasn’t going great, so we treated it like she hadn’t been on it before. She was a little keen early and we were in a tricky enough spot, but once in open air, she really found.”
