“Initially looking at the race I may have ended up outside the leader but there was a couple more that went forward and I didn’t want to hustle and bustle her early to hold that position.

“We ended up in a nice spot which worked out for us and she came into the race coming to hand around the bend, but I still feel like she still with a bit in hand and she’s going to improve with fitness.”
