On the performance: “It was a good run, we’re really pleased with him, he made good improvement from that first-up effort and Jamie gave him a lovely ride out in front.”

On the future: “I think we’ll just keep taking him through his grades. He’s a beautiful Redoute’s (Choice) colt owned by Aquis and they’ve been big supporters of the stable and obviously the plan is for him to one day end up there.

“So we’ll just see how he comes through the run and Annabel will make that decision in time, but it’s nice to see him put another one together.”

On the horse: “He’s just a beautiful animal to ride. He’s got a great attitude, settles, begins well but today he’s gone to the next level again.

“The other day he was tough and he had a grinding finish but today his turn of foot was massive.

“He’s just in a good headspace at the moment I guess. Annabel and the team have got him perfect, he’s just racing well and he’s a happy horse and hopefully it continues.”
