Winning Trainer: James Cummings (Sean Keogh speaking)

On the filly: “It was very straightforward from the filly. We were probably a smidge disappointed we didn’t get a start in the Ottawa Stakes on Oaks day because we thought she’d be very competitive there. We managed to keep her on ice and come here on Cranbourne Cup day with good prizemoney.”

Future plans: “Ahead to the Merson Coo[per Stakes? Yes it’s important to look after these good ones so that will be up to James and the team to assess how she’s come through the run, it looked like Mark Zahra throttled her down there in the end so delighted for the win”

On Roussillon & Parade Ground: “Parade Ground did a few things wrong and was probably a smidge keen in the run and he’s got a bit to learn but he’s a lovely progressive horse going forward and Roussillon finished off nice so we’ll have a chat to Damien (oliver) and work something out for him.”

Winning Jockey: Mark Zahra

On the filly: “She’s a feisty little girl, she didn’t give me the easiest time going around there (to the start) but one thing she has got is speed . The good thing about it I wanted to lead because I knew there was only one place she’d relax and once she was there she switched off. I felt her once I shook her up around the bend and it was all over,.”

On edging off the fence around the home turn: “She just took me there, she’s still a little bit green and she quickened that far she didn’t make the corner that well”
