Winning Trainer: Luke Oliver (assistant trainer Emma Addison interviewed)

On the run: “She had a beautiful ride, was nicely tucked in and then let down the outside to come home really strongly.”

On her progression between runs: “I do have the privilege of riding her every morning, she is one of my favourites, and her work has been incredible. We cannot fault her andI’m excited to see where we go with her.”

Winning Jockey: Blake Shinn

On being back in the Caulfield winner’s stall: “It’s great to be back here at The Heath in the winner’s circle.

On the pick-up ride: “We must spare a thought for Billy Egan. I’ve picked up a couple of rides this week due to Billy’s misfortune. He’s done a lot of work on this horse here today and it’s unfortunate for him but fortunately for me I’ve picked up a lovely ride and she did a great job. It was a great victory.”

On his association with Luke Oliver: “I’ve had a long association with Luke Oliver going back to when I was a young apprentice.

“It was really nice to pick up the ride from him, he knew I’d do my homework and I liaised with him when I found out I got the ride.

“It’s great for him, it’s his wedding today so I’m sure they’ll be celebrating hard and it’s a great celebration, combined with his wedding, to get this victory here today.”
