When Chad Schofield needed a run: “I was getting a bit nervous and I was yelling at him (from the stand).

The horse: “You’ve got to constantly work at him and keep pushing his buttons.

“He’s always had ability, his mind’s got to switch on.

“I have to make a special mention to his track rider Mitch Goring. He tells me off when I forget to mention him.”

Winning Jockey: Chad Schofield

“It was a good win. It’s good to be back her. We had the run of the race just behind the pace. It was quite quick early.

“We had that horse out wide drop off which gave us the chance to come off Rattle And Bang’s back. He did a bit wrong on the turn and the leader and the second horse stole a bit of a march but it wasn’t until he balanced up in the straight when he hit top stride and won.”

Better in twelve months: “I think so. Just have to keep him balance. Ken put the blinkers back on today and it proved a winning move.”

On Profondo: “I really like the horse. He’s, on ability, right up with them and I just hope he races well and we can see the best of Profondo.”
