Winning Trainer: Peter and Paul Snowden (Winnertakesitall Andrew Angelone speaking)
Has risen the bar: “She’s done extremely well since her last run. That was no guide as she got bumped late and it didn’t work out for us. I was pretty confident she would run a good race depending on speed and where she sat. The way she finished off was really good.”
Where to now: “I believe the plan is to tip her out. It might change after today, but I’m pretty sure win, lose or draw she was going to go out. She’s still a good six to eight months away from furnishing and filling out and hopefully she comes back and we can get a few more wins out of her.”
Winning Trainer: James Cummings (Lascars Sean Keogh speaking)
Thoughts on photo: “I thought we had been beaten. The horse was coming pretty quick. There was a couple of lengths between them, maybe he didn’t see it as he looked like he was down for a fight. I’m glad to finally get the horse to the races and get a win under the belt.”
Plans?: “He’s got some wonderful form. He’s been beaten this preparation by some very good horses. We were wanting to get out and get that maiden win having to hold back for a month or so because of some heavy track. To bring him here in metro grade and break his maiden, he’s got a bright future.”
Winning Jockey: Michael Dee (Winnertakesitall)
Far easier this time than the Quezette: “Absolutely. The plan was not to be that far back today but we got the right drag into the race and gee, she really motored home late. A wins a win, albeit we have to share it today. All credit to her, Andrew and Peter and Paul Snowden. They’ve kept her ticking over nicely and produced her here today feeling well and nice and fresh. She looked great in the yard.”
The Quezette run was no guide: “Today was probably the best feel I have had of her. Her Valley win was a very nice win, but just the way she motored home today was quite remarkable.”
Winning Jockey: Jamie Kah (Lascars)
Any sense of Winnertakesitall out wide: “Normally the outside gets up so. My horse was super tough. He had the inside horses all beaten and didn’t see that horse until the last few strides and stuck his neck out and tried again. It’s better than second, so we’re happy with that.”
