Winning Trainer: David Eustace speaking
The run: “It was a lovely watch, Johnny landed in a lovely free-flowing spot and kicked on the bend and he put them to bed really easily. Great to get some winners today, it’s a great place to train and hopefully it continues.”
The horse: “We did feel that he was half a run away but that he was an each-way chance. Lucy (Yeomans) was really happy with his work here on Tuesday morning and she was spot on. It’s great for the owners, this horse is a half-brother to Junipal who they raced and it’s great to have the whole crew here watching.”
Winning Jockey: John Allen
The horse: “He does have a few issues but he’s never moved as well. It was pretty straightforward today, he settled outside the leader , he’s always had plenty of ability but could be a bit hit and miss but he has gone well fresh previously.”
