“Today he was quite different than Mornington. He was really worked up with the crowd and the heat today.

“Did a little bit too much early and I was impressed to see him be so strong to the line. I think he’s still learning and got a lot to improve off.

“I felt him just tiring over the last 100 (metres) but I think that’s just because he was so worked up today but he’s a lovely horse who is definitely going places.”
