Gailo Chop leads. ALMANDIN has been excellent in each of his two runs back from a spell, the latest when fourth to Gailo Chop in the Australian Cup. Settled a long way back on that occasion and never got into clear running. Will at least have derived fitness from the run and this is the race he has been set for this prep.
GAILO CHOP is flying and was dominant in taking out the Ranvet Stakes seven days ago. Hard to beat however is a query out to 12 furlongs.
