The pick 6 will run each Saturday and will also be featured on the Tuesday and Thursday of the Flemington carnival.

We get started this weekend with the following races. You can find the R&S tips below to help you get a head start on the form.

Randwick Race 3 Highway Handicap - 1.40pm

Bandi's Boy  (10) excellent return in much stronger company when warmed up late to finish sixth over 1100m at Rosehill in Bm78 company on October 7. Undefeated second up and looks placed to perfection in Highway grade. FLORINO (11) progressive Mikki Isle gelding with the imposing figures of three wins from four starts resuming. Looks to have come back well with two searching trials and expected to measure up in this class. ALLABOUTROY (15) Wagga trained gelding who ran a solid seventh here over this trip two back in Highway grade on July 15. Resumed with a tough on pace nose second over 1200m at Wagga on October 14. Has come back well and looks a serious player here. LOVE SHUCK (20) exciting sprinter going quickly through his grades. Carried the 60kg well when a tough winner over this trip at Wagga in C2 class on October 14. Will take plenty of holding out.

Moonee Valley Race 4 Crockett Stakes - 1.55pm

Mumbai Muse  (9) perhaps didn't see out the 1400m in the G2 Tea Rose last start when ninth but did place in the G2 Furious prior which is very strong form. Freshened, back in trip and drawn well, she looks a big chance. INHIBITIONS (3) is another dropping back from 1400m which should suit. She too maps for every chance and should be thereabouts. CIGAR FLICK (4) was solid in the G2 Danehill last time out and not far away in the Furious prior. The wide draw does her no favours but she's going well. RIGHT TO PARTY (8) had genuine excuses last time at this track and distance. The first up run she found the line strongly. SHEVA (5) is progressive and can measure up.

Randwick Race 5 Brian Crowley Stakes - 2.50pm

General Salute  (2) smart colt freshened up for this and looks to get the right race shape today. Will find this much easier after running 12th over 1400m in the G1 Golden Rose Stakes at Rosehill on September 23. Savaged the line when third in a recent Hawkesbury 1000m trial placing. Will be charging late. KEENAN (6) nice colt heading in the right direction. Taken to the front and kicked clear in the straight for a dominant 1.75 len maiden win over 1300m at Randwick Kensington at latest. Has the upside to take on this class. Group 2 placegetter MUMBAI MUSE (10) has been freshened up after struggling when ninth over 1400m in the G2 Tea Rose Stakes at this track on September 16. Sharp trial win since and this looks her pet trip. FIRE LANE (9) consistent filly hard fit now after scoring a tough win over 1100m at Warwick Farm on October 11. Gets the right run and can sneak into the minor money.

Moonee Valley Race 6 Fillies Classic - 3.05pm

Nodachi (6) maps for the right run and should be at peak fitness. She had her chance in the G2 Edward Manifold last time but she should be fighting out the finish again and wouldn't shock at double figures. APRILIA (2) comes through the same race, finishing second. Should be thereabouts again. CAPTAIN AMELIA (4) comes through the G1 Flight Stakes where she found the line very well for fifth. That's clearly the best form, but she did start 80-1 and might want further now, likely giving them a head start. BROADCASTER (10) was good behind a top class filly in Sydney last time and that form should stack up. SKYBIRD (8) is progressive and can measure up.

Randwick Race 8 The Invitation - 4.45pm

Coolmore Classic winner Espiona  (2) finished a gallant 2.75 len seventh over 1200m in the Everest at this track two weeks ago. Out to her pet journey today and should prove too good for these. Multiple Group 3 winner MAGIC TIME (7) is a smart mare looking for the 1400m now after scoring a commanding 1.4 len win over 1200m in the G3 The Nivison at Rosehill on October 7. Sticky draw no help, but best figures have her right in this. Group 2 winner ROOTS (6) resumed with an eye catching fifth over 1400m at Rosehill in the Alan Brown on October 7. Strong through the line and strips much fitter for this. Looks a serious player. PARISAL (8) had to work hard from the outside gate when a gritty second in the G3 The Nivison at Rosehill on October 7. Kinder draw today should see her get every chance to run out a strong 1400m.

Moonee Valley Race 9 Cox Plate - 5.10pm

The G1 Cox Plate. Romantic Warrior  (1) was a pass-mark first up in the G1 Turnbull and perhaps no more, but he did carry the full 59kg there and from all reports has come on plenty. The form out of that testing race has stood up very well, and he should be on track to run near his best, which will go a long way to winning this. MR BRIGHTSIDE (3) is a top horse himself. Beaten on his merits last time but did start $1.90 and should improve off that. Don't have an issue with 2040m, especially from the soft draw. GOLD TRIP (5) is flying. He won the Turnbull from last and was very good last week in the Caulfield Cup. He'll want the speed on and if he gets it, watch for him late. ALLIGATOR BLOOD (4) ticked the 2000m box in style last time. Different pressure here but he's a ripper and impossible to knock. FANGIRL (8) may not get the favours she got last time but the win was super.
