Casing Royal returned to winning ways under an inspiring ride from jockey Oscar Chavez on Sunday.

New Zealand stallion Showcasing took the honours at Kranji on Sunday when he sired three of the 11 winners.

Mystic Master shed his bridesmaid tag in emphatic fashion when scoring a deserved breakthrough win in the Group 3 Juvenile Championship (1200m) at Kranji on Sunday.

Trainer Alwin Tan will have to wait until Sunday’s last race to find out if the unkindest cut has not taken anything away from Casing Royal other than the obvious.
